The Tres Leches cake is a gem of the Latin American cuisine, traditionally made of light and fluffy vanilla sponge cake, poked while still warm, soaked in a dreamy sauce that combines condensed milk, evaporated milk and heavy creamy, rested for 24 hours, and finally topped with fluffy meringue, toasted or lightly sprinkled with cinnamon.
From Mexico to Chile there' re many variations of the popular dessert. At Poked! we inspired our base recipe on the classic versions from Brazil & Venezuela. Developed and tasted to perfection, with more than 2000 units sold in the Canberra Region since 2018.
