Frequently asked QUESTIONS.

Where can a find your cakes?

Currently our only point of sale is our website. We’re working on some possible partnerships, planning to expand in a near future. Hopefully, you’ll soon be able to find our cakes in your local shops and/or favourite markets.

Is your meringue made with raw eggs?

We use raw eggs as the base of our meringue, but they go through a pasteurising process, that cooks the egg whites with sugar, making it 100% safe for consumption, even by pregnant women, and it’s shelf stable.

Can your cakes be vegan?

Unfortunately, no. The base of a Tres Leches is a sponge cake, made of egg whites as the main component for the mechanical raising. We don’t use any chemical or biological raising agents. We can, however, make it Gluten Free (yay!).

Can someone with a peanut allergy eat your cakes?

Luckily YES! Our kitchen is 100% peanut free, but other known allergens may be found, for example traces of gluten could be present in our Gluten Free cakes, due to possible cross-contamination, as we mostly use plain flour.

How fresh are your cakes?

As fresh as they can be. We don’t keep our cakes in stock, we only bake to order. Our cakes then need at least 12 hours of “resting”, and we make our meringue frosting at the very last, right before deliveries/pickups.

What is the address for pickup?

You’ll receive a text message on the day of your service with the address details to collect your order. All pickups are between 4:00-9:00 pm. Please note that we’re a home-based business, located in Palmerston, ACT.
